The Green Stone house is a minimalist composition of dominating volcanic stone finishing and green contours. The massive volumes of stone are scaled down by horizontal white concrete slabs that extends beyond. The extensions of the concrete are the ones that form the green contours. These green contours are soft, contrasting with the hard stone creating a natural but striking feel not so common in urban settings. The fence has stone columns, and a slab with lights beneath and plants above, a feeling of floating gardens in white concrete. The filling of the fence wall remains green as well. The interiors are made special by a connecting double height space and rhythmic windows. The ventilation is done through continuous louvers above the windows separating the connection between vertical stones and horizontal concrete, giving the concrete slab, a floating impression. Thus, flowers on top of concrete look like floating gardens.
